Deine Stimme gegen Armut (Your voice against poverty) is a joint campaign by VENRO, Herbert Grönemeyer and PR and media expert partners. Together they demand the German government to do more in order for the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) to be implemented until 2015.

VENRO’s project Perspektive 2015 – Armutsbekämpfung braucht Beteiligung (Prospects 2015 – Fighting Poverty needs Participation) informs and teaches about the MDG. This project takes part in the German federal government’s campaign “Aktionsprogramm 2015” from the perspective of civil society. www.2015.venro.org

The project Afrikas Perspektive – Europas Politik (Prospects for Africa – Europe’s Policies) aims at strengthening the partnership between Africa and Europe. At the EU-Africa summit in Lisbon at the end of 2007 African and European heads of state decided on a joint strategy. VENRO is part of this ongoing process in which civil society plays an important part. www.prospects-for-africa.de

NGO-Ideas is a co-operation project that monitors the effects and evaluates projects related to poverty. A total of 13 VENRO member organisations plus 27 partners from India, the Philippines and Eastern Africa take part. This project aims at enhancing the efficiency of NGO projects by raising the ability to evaluate the outcomes. www.ngo-ideas.net
